Job Title: Marketing Communications Executive

Department: Marketing

Reporting to: PR & Communications Manager

Purpose of the Job

You will be responsible for supporting the implementation of all marketing communications activities relating to all our brands (Color Confidence, Grafipress and XP Distribution).

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the PR & Communications Manager in the execution of the communications plan. This includes copywriting for all communication channels
  • Management and implementation of the social media and blog strategy for all brands and key vendors
  • Execute the company newsletter strategy for monthly mailings. Ensure key objectives are met
  • Assist with press campaigns; build on existing press database and help to maintain a regular flow of press coverage

Performance Standards

  • Achieve/exceed all assigned targets as defined by General Management on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Be accurate, demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, and be naturally well organised.
  • Attend product training as offered from time to time by key suppliers (and request such training as needed if it is not offered).
  • Maintain agreed levels of regular feedback (including written reports and face-to-face meetings)
  • Ensure that all customer/supplier liaison is recorded on our internal CRM system
  • Be capable in all key Microsoft Packages and CRM systems

Specific Duties

  • Implement marketing communication campaigns for all existing and new products
  • Prepare project plan and timescales for each activity and ensure agreement from all stakeholders both internal and external
  • Prepare web content in conjunction with the relevant Product Managers and E-Commerce personnel
  • Implement programmes and initiatives aimed at building a database of users to highlight new products, special offers, events etc.
  • Plan and implement a rolling three-month social media and blog plan incorporating the user database, website and relevant PR support. To prepare the brief for all activities and ensure it gets approved by the PR & Communications Manager
  • Support the PR & Communications Manager in preparing press releases, following up with journalists and keeping the press database and press coverage files up-to-date
  • Prepare all copy for social media, monthly newsletters, and website text as and when required
  • Work with the appropriate marketing representative to prepare effective and targeted social media campaigns utilising the most relevant communication channels for the market
  • Liaise with the Digital Marketing Executive to ensure translations are completed on time

Skill Set / Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a degree level qualification in Marketing, PR, Communications, English or Journalism
  • We are looking for a marketing professional with at least 2 year’s industry experience
  • Candidate must have strong writing, editing and proof reading skills with a portfolio that demonstrates their abilities
  • Must be a confident communicator with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to work

Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive

Department: Marketing

Reporting to: E-commerce Manager

Purpose of the Job

To co-ordinate all activities relating to web and digital marketing activities including:

  • Ensure that all changes required to the various web sites are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To manage Paid Search campaigns for all relevant sites
  • To initiate SEO best practice in order to grow organic traffic
  • To analyse Google Analytics and propose changes and improvements to the web sites as and when appropriate
  • To manage, prepare and circulate all direct to customer communication via email and link in directly with the internal CRM system
  • To manage the AMS programs for all vendors
  • To co-ordinate all translations for the business, not limited to the web site activities. 

Accountabilities

  • To ensure that all changes to the web sites are planned and added to the web site in agreed timescales.
  • To ensure that all Paid Search is carried out accurately and within budget, and is optimised for maximum ROI
  • To ensure that all sites are optimised for SEO
  • To ensure that all communication issued is on time, accurate and has the relevant approvals in place.

  • To add all new products, amend existing products or delete products from all web sites as instructed.
  • To ensure that all new product content, section reviews, and overall updates to the various web sites are done within agreed timescales.
  • To implement and co-ordinate all SEO content in line with requests from the E-Commerce Manager.
  • To implement and manage Google Adwords / Shopping campaigns for all existing and new products in line with requests from the E-Commerce Manager.
  • To prepare monthly Adwords reports on all sites to highlight month on month activity. To highlight key changes and put forward recommendations for improvements with regard to performance and budget.
  • To prepare monthly performance reports on email campaign activity and put forward suggestions to improve engagement, open rates and conversion rates
  • To co-ordinate all translations for the business to ensure it is delivered on time utilising internal or external resource as appropriate. A quote for all external work should be sought and approved prior to any work taking place.
  • To prepare a monthly report on the AMS programmes for all campaigns. To highlight key changes and put forward recommendations for improvement
  • Where applicable support other members of the Marketing Team for key events or activities.

Required Attributes / Skills

  • A Flair for Digital Marketing
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a transactional B2B / B2C environment
  • Excellent PPC budget & bid management skills with an understanding of ROI

  • To take overall administrative responsibility for the administration of our multiple Amazon Vendor Central Accounts.
  • To ensure new products are set up quickly, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To process our Amazon orders accurately and on time.
  • To maintain price changes across multiple currencies and regions using our internal systems.

Accountabilities

  • Implement all product changes quickly and accurately.
  • Have a keen eye for detail – constantly checking data to identify and correct possible errors.
  • Responsible for checking that internal/external changes have been implemented.
  • Attend regular product manager meetings to improve communication and system processes.

  • New product set up on all internal systems.
